It is his admiration for Duran Duran who convinced Robert to form, together
with his good friend Robin, the band Arena. Bassist since 1984, his musical
career was inspired by the colourful bass lines of John Taylor but also by
groups that marked the 80’s and 90’s such as Crowded House, Honeymoon Suite
and Guns N'Roses. Robin and Robert met the band while they we’re touring
in Montreal, which gave them infinite energy to pursue their dream of
forming a solid tribute band.
